The development team at Goldenfrog has moved the VyprVPN app for Windows out of beta and officially released version 1.0 of the software. This is great news for both VyprVPN and Giganews customers. The beta seemed to be extremely successful for Goldenfrog, and they have incorporated new features and fixes based on user feedback. The app itself is a huge improvement in the VPN service offering, and works very well as a Windows VPN client. The update is available now on the VyprVPN website, or users may update within the software. Remember, all Giganews members with diamond subscription plans receive VyprVPN free.
The VyprVPN app update includes significant improvements to the user interface, as well as increases in security and performance. Another major improvement for international VyprVPN and Giganews customers is multi- language support for French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Portuguese, and Mandarin.
The VyprVPN App for Giganews Version 1.0 update includes:
* Multi-Language support
* User interface changes for better usability
* Increased PPTP and L2TP security
* Improved OpenVPN speed and reliability
Unfortunately, the VyprVPN App is available for Windows only. However, Mac and Linux versions are planned, so hang in there. Our team here completed an In Depth Review and Full Speed Test earlier on VyprVPN (results for: PPTP, L2TP & OpenVPN). Overall, the results were pretty impressive. Speeds themselves were high among the servers. Since then, we have been following the release of the VyprVPN windows client software quite closely. The beta was impressive, so look for us to complete a full review of the new app in the near future. Don’t forget to check out our editors review and what users have to say about the service too!
